It started with a need that's personal to us. Skin cancer is being diagnosed at younger ages and remains the most common cancer in the United States. According to the American Cancer Society, more than 234,000 Americans are expected to be diagnosed with melanoma this year, the deadliest form of skin cancer, most often caused by UV exposure. 

After researching and looking for a product to fit the bill, we realized we needed to create. Sunscreen rubs and sweats off. It must be reapplied frequently for full protection. We quickly discovered that UPF (Ultraviolet Protection Factor) clothing is the most dependable sun barrier against harmful UV rays. While sunscreen is still especially important, we were on a mission to create a sunwear product line for fitness to leisure.
